Is the ballroom wheelchair accessible?
Westmor Ballroom features a wheelchair-accessible elevator for easy access throughout the venue. If you have specific accessibility needs, we encourage you to contact us before your visit so we can help ensure a comfortable experience.
Please note that our men's restroom is not wheelchair accessible. Our women's restroom can accommodate a wheelchair, although some guests may require assistance while using the facilities.

What dance styles do you teach?
Westmor Ballroom offers instruction in a variety of ballroom and Latin dance styles, including Waltz, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha Cha, Samba, Quickstep, Salsa, Bachata, Tango, and additional specialty classes throughout the year. We also have group lessons in ballet, modern dance, and hip hop.

Our instructors are National Dance Council of America (NDCA) Certified Teachers, a respected credential that reflects a high standard of technical knowledge, teaching ability, and professional excellence.
Many of our instructors are accomplished competitors, performers, adjudicators, and coaches with decades of experience teaching dancers of every skill level—from complete beginners and wedding couples to social dancers and competitive athletes. How do I schedule a private lesson?

How many guests can the ballroom accommodate?
Westmor Ballroom can accommodate up to 499 guests. Depending on your event layout, we can comfortably seat up to 350 guests for a banquet or 400 guests for theater-style seating. Our team will help you determine the ideal floor plan and seating arrangement to bring your vision to life.

Yes. We specialize in helping couples create memorable first dances, whether you want something simple and elegant or a fully choreographed performance. We encourage couples to schedule a Complimentary Wedding Dance Introduction session to discuss your big day.
Competitive Ballroom Dancing

Do you work with competitive dancers?
Yes. Westmor Ballroom welcomes competitive dancers looking to refine technique, prepare for competitions, or practice in a beautiful ballroom environment. Competitive dancers are best served during a private lesson, or may sign up to join our Friday and Sunday Practice Sessions.

Yes. Our Practice Rounds provide an excellent opportunity for both social and competitive dancers to practice multiple ballroom and Latin styles on one of Los Angeles' most beautiful dance floors.
